We are proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) amongst the International College of Surgeons (ICS) Sections of Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Singapore, in collaboration with Hospital Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and the Kaohsiung Humanitarian Care Society. This MoU solidifies the establishment and operation of a Surgical Training Center to enhance medical education and training.

 

The Joint Training Committee, consisting of representatives from each ICS section and Hospital UTAR, will oversee the training programs, including curriculum development and scheduling. This partnership aims to improve surgical skills and knowledge across the region, with the first virtual meeting scheduled within the year.

 

We look forward to this exciting collaboration and the opportunities it will bring for advancing medical expertise in Southeast Asia.
